Chema Madoz|1958|1992

If there is a photographer than never fails to amaze me, it would undoubtedly have to be Chema Madoz. His quasi surreal, ironic to the nth degree execution of seemingly normal objects and space is astounding. Why? Because it makes people feel slightly dumb, rather, I do. There is a different feel to his images; he plays with our mundane, quite unsurprising habitat, and turns them into a stage for humour and intrigue.
